ASML provides chipmakers with everything they need - hardware, software and services - to mass produce patterns on silicon, helping to increase the value and lower the cost of a chip. ASML has 19,000 employees worldwide. And is headquartered in Veldhoven (The Netherlands) and has over 60 offices in 16 countries.
The challenge
For Seniors @ ASML we got the assignment to design a clean logo/figurative mark which is memorable and easy to apply. Because it was for the Seniors department we used wisdom as a starting point.
our approach
Our task was to design for the senior department at ASML. We wanted to have a positive approach where we used wisdom as a starting point. At first we made various designs related to technology or growth. But eventually decided to go with a very easy and clear design. The arrow that was chosen by ASML represents the path of growth. The seniors at ASML developed themselves so much that they have reached the absolute top.
